Deck overview

This Simic deck is built around Omo, Queen of Vesuva, capitalizing on 'everything counters' to turn ordinary lands into all nonbasic land types simultaneously. By tagging lands as Loci, Urza's Tron lands, Gates, and Deserts, the deck accelerates into colossal mana reserves using Cloudpost, Planar Nexus, and copy lands like Vesuva and Thespian's Stage. The generated mana fuels massive payoffs including Apex Devastator, Avenger of Zendikar, Hydra Broodmaster, and Dark Depths activations. While resilient against traditional creature board wipes due to its land-based resource base, the deck plays at a moderate sorcery-speed tempo. It depends on combat damage to eliminate opponents across multiple attack cycles, running light interaction and relying on large threats to overwhelm the table.
