Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant stompy list helmed by Kellan, the Kid. It capitalizes on casting spells from outside the hand through mechanics like Foretell, Plot, Adventures, Suspend, and topdeck manipulation. When Kellan is on the battlefield, every spell cast from exile or the library cheats a permanent of equal or lesser mana value directly onto the battlefield for free. The deck leverages efficient 1-to-2 CMC ramp and cost reducers like Doc Aurlock, Grizzled Genius to assemble its engine on turn 4. By turn 6, it deploys massive game-ending bombs including Apex Devastator, Kodama of the East Tree, Railway Brawler, and One with the Multiverse. Protection spells such as Cosmic Intervention and Eerie Interlude shield the board against sweepers, allowing the deck to close out games through overwhelming combat damage by turn 8.
