Deck overview

This five-color Dragon tribal deck is helmed by Tiamat, whose ETB tutor ability is the engine that fuels the entire strategy. The primary game plan is to ramp into a cast of Tiamat as early as possible, use its search to grab five different dragons, then deploy them with the help of Hammer of Purphoros for haste and overwhelm opponents through combat damage. The deck includes a mix of powerful dragons like Korvold, Fae-Cursed King and Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, plus value pieces like God-Eternal Bontu and Escape to the Wilds for card advantage. Secondary win conditions include infect from Skithiryx, incremental damage from Impact Tremors and Sanguine Bond, and extra combats via Moraug, Fury of Akoum. The deck is heavily dependent on its commander for card flow and tutors.
