Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Voltron-reanimator deck commanded by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. The strategy focuses on attacking alone with Squall to grant him double strike, triggering his combat damage ability twice per turn to recur low-cost permanents directly from the graveyard to the battlefield. The deck loads its graveyard using self-mill and specific tutors like Entomb and Buried Alive, prioritizing recurring sacrifice creatures like Fleshbag Marauder and Plaguecrafter alongside symmetrical stax pieces like Rule of Law and Archon of Emeria. Because Squall puts cards directly onto the battlefield via combat triggers, the deck breaks parity under spell-casting restrictions while stripping opposing boards of creatures. Meanwhile, equipment such as Blackblade Reforged, Buster Sword, and Brotherhood Regalia provides unblockable evasion and amplifies Squall's power to eliminate opponents via commander damage across successive combat turns.
