Balthier and Fran - Vehicles by Rskiz

Format: Commander

Commander: Balthier and Fran

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Gruul Vehicles deck helmed by Balthier and Fran, a 4/3 legend that grants +1/+1, vigilance, and reach to your Vehicles, and can pay {1}{R}{G} after a crewed Vehicle attacks in the first combat phase to generate an additional combat phase. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Vehicles, crew them with the commander and other creatures, and win through repeated combat damage, often chaining multiple combat phases in a single turn. The deck leans heavily on the density of its Vehicle suite (15+ Vehicles) to overwhelm opponents, supported by card advantage engines on combat damage (Ohran Frostfang, The Thanos-Copter, Bello, Bard of the Brambles) and a few board wipes to reset the battlefield. While there are no infinite combos, the deck aims to close out games through attrition and extra-combat bursts.
