Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue aggro-control strategy piloted by Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor bridges the gap between spellslinger and kindred archetypes by turning every colored mana symbol in your noncreature blue spells into 1/1 Merfolk tokens. This ability fuels Namor's power as an evasive flying threat while going wide with a swarm of tokens. The deck uses low-cost interaction and card-draw spells to disrupt opponents while steadily expanding its board presence. Traditional Merfolk lords like Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident grant islandwalk and stat buffs to make the token army lethal. Asymmetric reset spells such as Raise the Palisade clear opposing boards to ensure clean combat connections. Dense countermagic and protective tools keep key pieces safe while you close out the game over two to three attack steps.
