Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck helmed by Shadow the Hedgehog is a high-synergy sacrifice-and-drain machine that marries haste aggression with death-trigger value. The commander provides continuous card draw whenever a haste or flash creature dies, and his Chaos Control ability-split second on any spell cast with artifact mana-acts as a powerful stack shield during combo or finisher turns. The primary win path is draining opponents through repeated creature deaths via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Marionette Apprentice, and Vein Ripper, supercharged by treasure generation from Pitiless Plunderer, Warren Soultrader, and combat triggers. Exsanguinate serves as a mana-sink finisher, while Living Death and Tombstone Stairwell provide mass recursion and token armies. The deck also runs Knuckles the Echidna as a secondary "30 artifacts" alternate win condition and Insurrection to steal the board. It is a fast, synergistic deck that leverages the commander's draw engine and protection to grind out incremental advantage and assemble drain loops.
