Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is an Azorius draw-and-token engine. The deck aims to cast Bard early, then use its replacement effects to double every later draw and every token creation. Cheap draw spells and recursion/token triggers from Prince Imrahil, Belladonna Took, Bard's Company, and The Queen of Dale turn extra cards into a growing Human army. Backup token doublers Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Exalted Sunborn keep the multiplying plan alive if Bard is answered. The deck closes with an overwhelming combat step built from Secure the Wastes, An Unexpected Party, or Grand Crescendo, usually finished with Akroma's Will and protected by Flawless Maneuver or Myrel, Shield of Argive. It is a mid-speed go-wide deck with no infinite combo and no hidden commander.
