Deck overview

This deck is a Naya midrange beatdown strategy built around Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph converts all nontoken artifacts into lands and turns lands into 0/0 creatures with +1/+1 counters that return to play tapped when destroyed or exiled. The deck leverages this unique recurring animation engine alongside classic Landfall payoffs such as Omnath, Locus of Rage, Phylath, World Sculptor, Felidar Retreat, and Obuun, Mul Daya Ancestor. Mana ramp from artifacts and land search spells accelerates the deployment of high-cost beaters, while cards like Bumi, Unleashed grant additional combat steps for land creatures. Because earthbent lands return to the battlefield upon death, the deck maintains natural resistance to creature removal and wrath effects. While it lacks instant-speed stack interaction and dedicated stax pieces, the deck generates overwhelming combat damage by turning its mana base into a resilient, scaling offensive force.
