Dragons, demons, and angels, oh my! by user1055729

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a high-swing, combat-focused Kaalia of the Vast deck built to turn one attack trigger into a stream of evasive Angels, Demons, and Dragons. The plan is straightforward: get Kaalia into play, connect in combat, and put an expensive flier onto the battlefield tapped and attacking for free. Payoffs like Aurelia, the Warleader and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight multiply the effect - Aurelia grants an extra combat phase, allowing a second Kaalia trigger in the same turn, while Gisela doubles all combat damage. The deck also leans on token generation through Divine Visitation, Lathliss, Dragon Queen, and Resplendent Angel, plus incidental burn from Impact Tremors and Firespitter Whelp. It is a fair, beatdown-style commander deck with little stack interaction and no infinite combos; its victories come from overwhelming the table with repeated, flying haymakers.
