Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius Skies tribal strategy led by Kangee, Sky Warden. The game plan establishes an early airborne presence using low-cost creatures with flying and cost reducers like Watcher of the Spheres and Momo, Friendly Flier. Once a wide board of fliers is deployed, the deck leverages Kangee's attack trigger to grant all attacking fliers +2/+0, turning inexpensive utility creatures into a formidable combat clock. Card advantage engines like Bident of Thassa, Reconnaissance Mission, and Kastral, the Windcrested keep your hand full as creatures connect each turn. A robust interaction suite consisting of efficient counterspells and exile removal disrupts key opposing threats, while proactive protection spells such as Selfless Spirit, Linvala, Shield of Sea Gate, and Akroma's Will guard the board against sweepers. The deck closes games through relentless evasive combat damage, finishing tables with game-ending anthems like True Conviction or Gravitational Shift.
