Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Black Aristocrats and Combo strategy helmed by Avacyn, Angel of Horror. Its central game plan leverages classic black mana acceleration like Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Sol Ring to deploy powerful card engines such as The One Ring and Bolas's Citadel. The deck uses unconditional tutors including Demonic Tutor and Vampiric Tutor to assemble its primary win condition: the infinite drain combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond. Once both enchantments enter the battlefield, any point of life gain or opponent life loss immediately triggers a self-sustaining loop that drains all three opponents to zero life in zero response cycles. If the enchantment combo is disrupted, the deck pivots smoothly to lethal graveyard recursion and devotion bursts using Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, and Living Death. A deep interaction package protects life totals and disrupts opposing commanders.
