Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to execute a resilient combat and burn strategy centered on experience counters. The deck curves into its commanders on Turns 3 and 4, using God creatures to attack and generate experience counters. Kratos places an increasing number of +1/+1 counters on a chosen threat at each end step, rapidly turning commanders or supporting Gods into massive attackers. Meanwhile, Atreus converts experience counters into card advantage and noncombat table-wide burn. High-impact equipment like Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, Buster Sword, and The Reaver Cleaver accelerates mana, pushes trample damage, and doubles combat output. Resilient God creatures such as God-Eternal Oketra and Iroas, God of Victory ensure strong board presence even through opposing removal. Because experience counters stay with the player, the deck recovers quickly from sweepers, maintaining a persistent clock that finishes the table by Turn 8.
