Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu Vampire tribal aggro and aristocrats strategy commanded by Edgar Markov. The game plan leverages Edgar's Eminence ability to generate free 1/1 Vampire tokens whenever a Vampire spell is cast, creating explosive board presence in the early turns without spending extra mana. The deck converts this wide creature swarm into a rapid clock using anthem lords like Stromkirk Captain, Markov Baron, and Captivating Vampire, while punishing opposing blocks and board wipes through aristocrat drain effects like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Card advantage engines such as Skullclamp and Welcoming Vampire ensure consistent hand refill by leveraging the token stream. Additionally, the deck contains an infinite life-drain win condition combining Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Versatile spot removal and asymmetric sweepers clear opposing defenses while leaving the Vampire army intact.
