Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Voltron strategy commanded by Hit-Monkey. Thanks to its commander's built-in keyword suite—featuring haste, hexproof, vigilance, deathtouch, reach, and uncounterability—the deck bypasses traditional Voltron setup hurdles like giving the commander haste and targeted protection. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the first two turns, casting Hit-Monkey on Turn 3 or 4, and attaching massive power enhancements or infect via cards like Blackblade Reforged, Grafted Exoskeleton, Triumph of the Hordes, and Raised by Giants. Evasion tools ensure that lethal commander damage or poison counters connect. While the deck boasts high single-target lethality and resilience against spot removal, its linear combat focus means it must eliminate opponents one at a time. The list lacks tutoring infrastructure and card velocity, making it susceptible to mass non-destroy wipes such as exile or bounce spells.
