Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos spellslinger and burn strategy built around Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. Kuja creates Wizard tokens on each of your end steps, providing both board presence and ping triggers whenever you cast noncreature spells. Once four Wizards are in play, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, doubling all damage dealt by your Wizards. The deck supports this game plan with redundant pingers like Coruscation Mage and Black Waltz No. 3, multiplier effects like Harmonic Prodigy and Artist's Talent, and potent mana refund engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist. By chaining low-cost cantrips, rituals, and impulse draw spells, the deck generates high storm counts to burn all opponents out simultaneously, often sealing the win around turn 5.
