Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a midrange value engine built around the Partner-Father & Son duo of Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son. The primary game plan is to accumulate experience counters through attacking with Gods and proliferate effects, then leverage those counters for card advantage via Atreus's activated ability and for combat dominance via Kratos's +1/+1 counter distribution. The deck's real finishing mechanism is a dense package of extra-combat cards-eight in total-that chain together to deliver overwhelming combat damage in a single turn. Key enablers like Sword of Feast and Famine and Hellkite Charger form an infinite-combat loop, while Scourge of the Throne and Port Razer provide additional attack phases. The deck also packs a robust interaction suite with free counterspells and protection, allowing it to dictate the pace of the game.
