Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet Voltron and Midrange strategy powered by dice-rolling mechanics. Led by Wyll, Blade of Frontiers and the Background Sword Coast Sailor, the deck uses Wyll's built-in die advantage to consistently roll high on d20s, d6s, and d12s, stacking +1/+1 counters every time a die is rolled. Sword Coast Sailor grants Wyll unblockable attacks against whichever opponent currently holds the highest life total, allowing him to push lethal commander damage through board stalls. A wide suite of support pieces—including Fallout Bobbleheads, Vexing Puzzlebox, Barbarian Class, and Farideh, Devil's Chosen—provide steady dice triggers and mana. High-impact finishers such as Ancient Copper Dragon, Ancient Silver Dragon, Commander's Plate, and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar accelerate the clock by multiplying damage or refilling the hand, while countermagic and targeted removal keep opposing game plans in check.
