Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund midrange strategy built around Henzie "Toolbox" Torre. It accelerates on the earliest turns using low-cost mana dorks to deploy Henzie by Turn 2 or 3. Once active, Henzie grants blitz and cost reduction to high-mana creatures, letting them enter with haste, attack immediately, and draw a card upon sacrifice at end of turn. The deck chains value through pod engines like Birthing Pod and Vivien on the Hunt, turning temporary blitzed creatures into permanent board threats or graveyard fuel. Mass recursion spells like Living Death and direct damage engines like Ziatora, the Incinerator convert accumulated graveyard presence into decisive table-wide lethality. While vulnerable to early graveyard hate and light on instant-speed counter protection, the deck generates relentless card flow, resilient board states, and high-impact combat steps.
