Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie Tribal and Aristocrats strategy commanded by Varina, Lich Queen. The game plan revolves around deploying aggressive, low-cost Zombies in the early turns, casting Varina on Turn 4, and attacking immediately to filter through cards, fill the graveyard, and gain life. The deck leverages its packed graveyard through token generation, mass reanimation spells like Bloodline Bidding and Lich-Knights' Conquest, and recursive threats like Gravecrawler. As the Zombie horde expands, anthem lords such as Death Baron and Lord of the Accursed grant power and evasion, while aristocrats pieces like Corpse Knight, Wayward Servant, and Diregraf Captain drain opponents on creature entry and death. The deck runs a versatile interaction suite of efficient spot removal and counterspells to protect its board state. Although vulnerable to mass exile and graveyard hate, the deck boasts strong resilience and functional redundancy.
