Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai elfball deck. Its primary plan is to fill the graveyard with Elves that have activated abilities, cast Thranduil, and convert him into a reusable mana/untap engine before ending with a massive Craterhoof/Ezuri/Warmaster trample swing or Lathril drain. Secondary paths are aggressive token generation from Lys Alana, Warmaster, and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege, plus value from Maralen's free spell lines. The commander is single-faced; the deck is built around the graveyard-ability face, not an adventure face. Thranduil, Sindarin Liege is a supporting sub-commander in the 99, adding landfall tokens and a small Silvan Rally self-mill.
