Deck overview

This deck is a Temur stompy deck that converts casting large creatures into card draw and table-wide burn using Eshki, Temur's Roar. The strategy ramps on the first two turns to cast Eshki on turn three. Once Eshki is in play, undercosted creatures with four or six power—such as Phyrexian Soulgorger, Dreamtide Whale, and Pugnacious Hammerskull—trigger Eshki on cast. Each cast grows Eshki, draws a card, and deals damage equal to Eshki's power to all opponents simultaneously. The deck compounds this burn through damage amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Sarkhan's Unsealing, and Purphoros, God of the Forge. It maintains mana velocity through power-based ramp creatures like Fanatic of Rhonas and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds. By turns five and six, the deck overwhelms the table with combined noncombat burn and massive trampling combat swings from bombs like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Maelstrom Wanderer, while low-cost interaction defends key pieces.
