Gwenom, Remorseless by user2371333

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gwenom, Remorseless leads a mono-black drain deck that converts lifegain into lethal opponent life loss while utilizing the commander as an explosive card-advantage engine. Gwenom allows you to cast cards from the top of your library during combat by paying life instead of mana, rapidly digging through the deck. The primary win condition is assembling an infinite life-drain loop with Exquisite Blood alongside Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Marauding Blight-Priest, or South Wind Avatar. Secondary lines win through massive drain bursts using Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Shard of the Nightbringer, and Exsanguinate backed by persistent incremental bleed effects.
