ENDLESS PUNISHMENT by NewfieMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls is the heart of this Rakdos pain deck. The plan is simple: make each opponent lose life on every one of their turns, so the commander grows, draws cards, and becomes a voltron threat. A dense web of repeatable pain permanents (Mogis, Shivan Gorge, Lasting Tarfire, Fate Unraveler) both triggers the commander and grinds away life totals. The main finish is a giant Chandra's Ignition, often doubled by Brash Taunter and amplified by Torture Pit, to remove all three opponents at once. A drain subtheme with Blood Artist and Falkenrath Noble provides a backup path. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around Valgavoth.
