Commander: Szarel, Genesis Shepherd

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Jund "lands matter" deck built around one idea: make the whole table sacrifice lands, then break parity by replaying your own from the graveyard. Szarel, Genesis Shepherd is the linchpin, letting you play lands from your graveyard while her sacrifice trigger grows a creature each time you crack a fetchland, use Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, or fire off a symmetrical Pox-style spell. The mass-sacrifice sorceries-Pox, Smallpox, Death Cloud, Tectonic Break, Wildfire, Destructive Force, and Pox Plague-are the main weapon, and the deck is loaded with extra land-drop effects (Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Oracle of Mul Daya) and land recursion (Aftermath Analyst, Soul of Windgrace) to stay ahead. There is no compact infinite combo; instead, the deck wins by stripping opponents' mana and then swinging with oversized creatures like The Gitrog Monster, Korvold, Fae-Cursed King, and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest-pumped hordes, with Mayhem Devil pinging the last life totals.
