Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, focusing on high-impact Dragon tribal synergy and overwhelming aerial combat. The primary game plan revolves around ramping through mana rocks and cost reducers during the opening turns, deploying Lathliss by Turn 4 or 5, and immediately following up with massive flying threats that trigger free 5/5 Dragon tokens. Direct damage amplifiers such as Dragon Tempest, Scourge of Valkas, and Warstorm Surge turn each creature entry into lethal burn, while finishers like Utvara Hellkite and Terror of Mount Velus rapidly close out the game. The deck features potent creature sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Magmaquake to keep opposing boards clear. While it has limited stack interaction and remains vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, its dense redundancy of standalone Dragon threats allows it to maintain immense combat pressure even through targeted disruption.
