Deck overview

This deck is a specialized five-color Polymorph strategy helmed by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around deploying inexpensive token generators—such as Skrelv's Hive, Lingering Souls, and Staff of the Storyteller—alongside early artifact ramp during the first three turns. On Turn 4, casting Jace allows immediate activation of his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a massive creature or planeswalker straight onto the battlefield from the library. Payoffs like Archon of Cruelty, Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, Serra's Emissary, and Hullbreaker Horror rapidly turn the corner, applying severe combat pressure and asymmetric attrition. Redundant cheat spells such as Polymorph, Transmogrify, and Proteus Staff ensure the deck functions smoothly even without Jace. High-end board wipes and instant-speed protection like Flawless Maneuver keep opposing boards clear while preserving your overwhelming board presence.
