Hydraaaaa by marinert

Format: Commander

Commander: Zaxara, the Exemplary

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Sultai X-spell/hydra deck built around Zaxara, the Exemplary as both a repeatable two-mana accelerator and a token generator. The primary plan is to cast a large hydra or X draw spell every turn, converting each into an extra Hydra token, while Unbound Flourishing, Hardened Scales, and Loading Zone multiply size and effect. The commander's tap ability funds X costs, and the deck closes by copying Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate, or by attacking with trampling hydras under Garruk's Uprising. Villainous Wealth and Entrancing Melody form a secondary steal plan. There is no hidden commander; every supporting legend is an X-matter enabler.
