Deck overview

This deck is a Jund combat and value engine built around Henzie "Toolbox" Torre while adhering to the companion restriction of Umori, the Collector. Every nonland card in the 99 is a creature, dedicating the entire strategy to creature-based acceleration, disruption, and game-ending beaters. Early turns focus on deploying 1-drop mana dorks to cast Henzie on Turn 2, followed immediately on Turn 3 by blitzing mid-cost creatures that ramp and replace themselves upon death. By Turn 5, the mana surplus enables blitzing massive haymakers such as Archon of Cruelty, Vaultborn Tyrant, and Etali, Primal Storm, swinging with haste and triggering lethal combat pressure.
