Format: Commander

Commander: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. leads a five-color midrange control and discard deck designed to dismantle opposing game plans through relentless attrition. While Nick Fury offers full color identity and an occasional high-value power-up activation, the deck primarily operates as an interactive hand-disruption engine. Early turns focus on stripping key combo pieces and threats with targeted discard spells like Thoughtseize, Hymn to Tourach, and Grief. As opponents run low on resources, standalone value engines such as Psychic Frog, Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, and Lurrus of the Dream-Den pull ahead on card advantage. Lethal damage is delivered through an evasive, growing Psychic Frog, high-impact combat threats like Tourach, Dread Cantor, and the passive life drain of Sheoldred, the Apocalypse.
