Deck overview

This deck is an Esper token, combat-value, and mill combo strategy commanded by Soundwave, Sonic Spy // Soundwave, Superior Captain. The early game focuses on deploying artifact ramp and generating evasive artifact creature tokens—specifically Laserbeak and Ravage—by casting odd- and even-cost spells. These tokens connect in combat to draw cards through engines like Enduring Curiosity and Curiosity Crafter, while Soundwave exiles and casts instant and sorcery spells directly from opposing graveyards. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by assembling the two-card infinite combo of Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank (or Bloodchief Ascension). Once Duskmantle Guildmage's ability is activated, any single instance of damage or mill causes a continuous loop of library mill and life loss that immediately eliminates all three opponents on the same turn. If the combo is contested, the deck pivots smoothly into token swarm pressure backed by Anointed Procession, Defiling Daemogoth, and asymmetric board wipes.
