Necromancer by GodzillaFan

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Necromancer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Sauron, the Necromancer leads a mono-black graveyard strategy focused on self-mill, aristocrat drains, and repeatable reanimation. The deck stocks the graveyard with impact creatures like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Voracious Fell Beast, and Fleshbag Marauder using cheap mill enablers. When Sauron attacks, he exiles these creatures to create attacking Wraith copies. By making Sauron your Ring-bearer through cards like Call of the Ring, these tokens persist indefinitely. The primary win condition combines repeated combat swings with wide life drain engines powered by Syr Konrad, the Grim, Mirkwood Bats, and reanimated Gray Merchant of Asphodel triggers.
