Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (non-green) Superfriends and Polymorph midrange control engine commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary strategy leverages dense 2-CMC mana acceleration to deploy Jace ahead of curve on Turn 4, immediately utilizing his −3 ability to exile low-cost token fodder and cheat massive threats like Archon of Cruelty, Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, or Archfiend of Despair directly onto the battlefield. Backed by topdeck filtering (Brainstorm, Brainsurge) and planeswalker force multipliers (Oath of Teferi, Ichormoon Gauntlet, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus), the deck generates compounding card flow and board suppression. Its defensive shell uses passive combat taxes, board wipes, and cheap countermagic to blunt opposing aggression while closing the game through evasive combat and life drain over multiple turn cycles.
