Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Self-Mill Reanimator build commanded by Uldaros Theorix. It focuses on rapidly loading the graveyard in the early turns using cheap cantrips, self-mill dorks, and targeted burial spells like Entomb and Buried Alive. By Turn 4, the deck uses low-cost reanimation spells to deploy high-impact threats such as Doom Whisperer, Burning-Rune Demon, and Overlord of the Balemurk. The commander, Uldaros Theorix, enters as a mid-game powerhouse on Turn 5, exiling diverse card types from the graveyard to cast up to 6 mana value worth of spells for free. The deck wins by Turn 7 through overwhelming evasive combat damage or by drawing from an empty library using Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac. A suite of efficient 1-to-2 mana counterspells protects its game plan while disrupting major opposing plays.
