Deck overview

Captain America, First Avenger leads a fast, resilient Jeskai equipment deck that merges explosive Voltron combat with instant-speed direct-damage removal and a compact infinite combo. The commander bypasses heavy equip costs by attaching high-impact artifacts like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Colossus Hammer, and Kaldra Compleat for free at the beginning of combat. It can also unattach these weapons to throw massive direct damage at opposing creatures or life totals. Fast mana rocks and efficient tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift ensure early assembly by Turn 3 and decisive pressure by Turn 4. The deck protects its engine using free counterspells, Sunforger toolboxes, and phased protection from Teferi's Protection and Clever Concealment. When combat stalls, Zirda, the Dawnwaker and Grim Monolith produce infinite mana, allowing Captain America to repeatedly throw equipment and machine-gun the entire table.
