Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Spellslinger combo list commanded by Codie, Ravenous Codex. It leverages the prepare mechanic, which allows dual-faced creatures to cast copies of their attached spells. Codie doubles every prepared spell cast and can spend five mana to re-prepare the entire board at once. Dense low-cost ramp propels Codie onto the battlefield early. Once active, the deck chains copied rituals like Seething Song and card draw like Ancestral Recall into massive storm turns. Its primary infinite line uses Displacer Kitten to flicker Blazing Firesinger each time its Seething Song copy is cast, generating infinite red mana and magecraft triggers. That mana feeds into Demonic Tutor loops or lethal burn from Witherbloom Apprentice and Fiery Inscription to eliminate the table in a single turn. While susceptible to well-timed creature removal, its redundancy and raw velocity make it explosive.
