Mono Black by manzanagabo

Format: Commander

Commander: Gonti, Night Minister

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gonti, Night Minister leads a mono-black theft and value deck that wins by playing opponents' spells and reanimating their creatures. The primary plan uses creatures like Dauthi Voidwalker, Arvinox, and Praetor's Grasp to exile cards from opponents' libraries and graveyards, then cast them with mana from Gonti's treasure generation. A secondary combo line uses Chain of Smog with Sedgemoor Witch to create infinite Pest tokens, then kills with Bastion of Remembrance or converts them to infinite mana via Pitiless Plunderer. The commander accelerates the plan by fueling treasure production whenever opponents cast stolen spells.
