Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic Midrange Stompy strategy commanded by Prime Speaker Zegana. Its game plan revolves around accelerating mana during the opening turns with mana dorks and rocks, establishing a solid board presence with mid-sized threats like Polukranos, World Eater, and casting Zegana to draw a fresh grip of six or more cards. Once the hand is refilled, the deck transitions into a lethal endgame by overwhelming opponents with large trampling creatures, culminating in a decisive Craterhoof Behemoth overrun. Secondary win conditions include clone-based swarms, token generation, and the alternate win condition of Biovisionary. Because it commits heavily to sorcery-speed creature deployment, the deck is susceptible to mass removal and fast combo strategies, but its high card velocity allows it to rebuild easily from attrition.
