Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck executes a classic Vampire tribal aggro and aristocrats strategy. By leveraging Edgar Markov's eminence ability from the command zone, every Vampire cast generates an additional 1/1 Vampire token at zero extra mana cost. The deck curves low-mana Vampires into mid-game power multipliers such as Sanctum Seeker, Drana, Liberator of Malakir, and Vito, Fanatic of Aclazotz to drain opponents and grow the board. Late-game haymakers like casting Edgar Markov or assembling Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond provide burst lethality. However, the deck suffers from mana friction due to numerous tapped lands and a lack of countermagic or broad board protection, leaving wide swarms vulnerable to sweepers before completing the table kill.
