Deck overview

This is a low-to-the-ground Orzhov aristocrats/sacrifice deck built around Hei Bai, Spirit of Balance. The plan is to deploy cheap creatures and artifacts, cast Hei Bai, then feed him a steady stream of sacrifices - on entry and on every attack - turning him into an ever-growing commander-damage threat. The 99 supports this with recursive fodder like Sanitarium Skeleton and Dregscape Zombie, sacrifice outlets in Bloodflow Connoisseur and Blood Bairn, and drain payoffs such as Lampad of Death's Vigil and Trespasser's Curse. There are no infinite combos; games are won incrementally through commander damage, small creature beatdown, and life-loss triggers. Grindy cards like Wick's Patrol, Death's-Head Buzzard, and Obsessive Pursuit provide removal, card flow, and counter synergy. The deck is a slow, value-oriented midrange pile that wants to out-grind tables rather than present a fast, deterministic kill.
