Deck overview

This deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a 5-color polymorph engine in the command zone. Supported by dense two-mana artifact ramp and disposable token creators such as Skrelv's Hive and Lingering Souls, the strategy aims to deploy Jace on turn 4 and immediately activate his −3 loyalty ability to transform an expendable token into a high-impact bomb. The payoff suite features massive threats including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, and Archfiend of Despair, which rapidly control the board and pressure opponents' life totals. Backup cheat outlets like Proteus Staff and Mass Polymorph ensure redundancy if Jace is targeted. While the deck boasts efficient removal and solid board resilience, its reliance on combat damage to eliminate three opponents results in a multi-turn closing clock that allows opponents several response windows.
