New Untitled Deck by frogmelt

Format: Commander

Commander: Rowan, Scion of War

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Rowan, Scion of War is the deck's engine: it pays life through pain lands, fetches, shocklands, phyrexian mana, and rituals, then taps Rowan to make every black or red spell nearly free. The primary kill is Searing Touch with buyback: after losing at least 5 life in a turn, Rowan reduces the total cast cost to zero, so Searing Touch loops indefinitely for 1 damage per cast. Secondary lines use the same discount to chain tutors, draw cards, and flashback spells into the loop. There is no hidden commander; Searing Touch is the de facto win condition.
