Format: Commander

Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits serves as a massive ramp engine in the command zone, entering the battlefield as three bodies that collectively generate nine colorless mana each turn cycle. The deck leverages this explosive burst of mana to cast game-ending colorless and green threats such as Desolation Twin, Darksteel Colossus, Galactus, Devourer of Worlds, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger well ahead of curve. Token-multiplying spells like Second Harvest and For the Common Good scale the Halfling mana engine exponentially, while cards like Garruk's Uprising grant crucial trample to punch through defenses. The primary path to victory is overwhelming opponents with devastating combat damage from giant Eldrazi, Golems, and Dinosaurs.
