Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The plan is to deploy counter engines, grow a wide board of large creatures, and use Tidus's "Cheer" ability to draw cards and proliferate whenever a creature with counters connects. The deck is a classic "counters matter" value pile: it ramps, drops redundant counter engines like Hardened Scales and Good-Fortune Unicorn, and wins through overwhelming combat damage - often with Chocobo Knights double strike or Sphere Grid trample - or with a big Walking Ballista as a backup outlet. The commander is a key draw/proliferate engine, but the 99 is full of redundant counter synergies, so the deck can still execute without him.
