00 - (OK) Jenova, Ancient Calamity (+1/+1 Counters) by Wicket84

Format: Commander

Commander: Jenova, Ancient Calamity

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Golgari +1/+1 counter deck built around Jenova, Ancient Calamity as a counter battery. The commander accumulates counters from Court of Garenbrig, Bristly Bill, Innkeeper's Talent, and similar effects, then at combat transfers its entire power onto a Mutant. That single large creature usually becomes the game-ending threat: Giggling Skitterspike attacks and pings each opponent, or Jarad sacrifices it to drain all opponents, or Psychosis Crawler turns the death-draw trigger into life loss. Maester Seymour and Ouroboroid act as backup counter generators. The deck is linear but redundant, with one-shot finishers rather than chip damage, and leans on counter synergies to sustain card advantage.
