Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages the eminence ability of The Ur-Sphinx to reduce casting costs for large flying Sphinxes from the command zone. Its primary win condition is a compact infinite turn combo using Tivit, Seller of Secrets and Time Sieve. By entering the battlefield and dealing combat damage, Tivit creates five artifact tokens per trigger, enabling Time Sieve to take infinite turns and eliminate opponents through combat. The supporting shell consists of efficient mana rocks, tribal cost reducers, and high-velocity draw engines like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Rhystic Study. If the combo is disrupted or pieces are exiled, the deck seamlessly transitions into a resilient airborne beatdown strategy. High-impact flyers such as Magister Sphinx, Medomai the Ageless, and Sphinx of the Second Sun close out games backed by premier free interaction, asymmetric board wipes, and robust recursion spells.
