Deck overview

This Boros deck focuses on rapid commander-driven combat damage and geometric damage amplification. Led by Lightning, Army of One, the strategy aims to accelerate mana on early turns, resolve the commander, and give her double strike or damage multipliers. When Lightning deals combat damage, her Stagger ability doubles all subsequent damage dealt to that player, allowing follow-up attacks, burn spells, and extra combat phases to eliminate opponents rapidly. High-impact cards like Fiery Emancipation, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Combat Celebrant turn modest attacks into game-ending bursts. While the deck boasts efficient targeted removal and strong physical pressure, it relies heavily on combat connections and natural draws due to limited card filtering and stack countermagic.
