Reanimator - casual by user8282213

Format: Commander

Commander: Yawgmoth, Thran Physician

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats and -1/-1 counter engine built around Yawgmoth, Thran Physician. The deck floods the board with cheap tokens from Bitterblossom, Ophiomancer, and friends, then converts those bodies into cards, kill spells, and life drain through Yawgmoth's activated abilities and a dense suite of death triggers (Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, Vein Ripper, Syr Konrad, the Grim). Primary wins are compact infinite sacrifice loops-most cleanly Yawgmoth, Thran Physician + Nest of Scarabs or undying packages with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed-backed by reanimation lines via Buried Alive/Entomb and explosive card advantage from Ad Nauseam. Secondary paths include big Gray Merchant of Asphodel drains and grindy attrition. Yawgmoth is the central draw engine, sacrifice outlet, and counter distributor, but several loops and the aristocrats core still function from the 99.
