Deck overview

This Boros Angel Midrange deck uses Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to turn sturdy flying creatures into lethal threats. The deck builds mana velocity through artifacts and tribal cost reducers like Giada, Font of Hope and Starnheim Aspirant. It deploys resilient airborne beaters during the middle turns, including Lyra Dawnbringer, Archangel Avacyn, and Gisela, the Broken Blade. Once Gisela, Blade of Goldnight or global damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and True Conviction resolve, the deck doubles or triples all outgoing damage while halving incoming combat damage. The list also features the game-ending infinite combat loop of Aurelia, the Warleader and Helm of the Host. Defensive staples like Ghostly Prison, Teferi's Protection, and Farewell ensure board control, while targeted exile spells keep opposing threats in check.
