Deck overview

This Jeskai deck operates as an exile-matters midrange combat strategy built around Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider. Early turns focus on mana development through two-mana rocks and deploying Gwen Stacy on Turn 2 to bank an exile card. By Turn 5, the deck pays five mana ({2}{U}{R}{W}) to transform Gwen into Ghost-Spider, a 4/4 flying, vigilance, and haste threat that accumulates +1/+1 counters whenever cards are played from exile. Midgame turns leverage high-density impulse draw engines such as Bonehoard Dracosaur, Cait Sith, Fortune Teller, and Commander Liara Portyr to fuel Ghost-Spider's growth, generate board presence, and churn through the library. Without infinite combos or fast combo locks, victory is achieved through fair, compounding combat damage, token generation, and burn triggers from Spider-Man 2099 and Lady Loki, Agent of Chaos over multiple combat rotations.
